At The House of Prayer, we believe that God has given gifts to each person to use in service to His Kingdom. Our members respond to the call with remarkable personal commitment to ministry with the church and their communities.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER
In line with the name of our church, many members have been blessed with the gift of Prayer. The Intecessory Prayer Team meets regularly to pray for those that have requested prayers through prayer request cards, current events, and other sources. God has used this prayer group to answer many of those requested prayers.
PRAISE AND WORSHIP TEAM
Each week our choir ministers in music and song, with modern instruments and contemporary arrangements. Our choir members, musicians, and soundboard operators are dedicated to this ministry so as to help usher in the presence of the Lord into the house of worship.
OVERHEAD TEAM
Behind the scenes, an overhead worker is busy watching the song leader and using the computer and projector to display lyrics to the songs that the choir is singing during praise and worship. View the Overhead Ministry schedule
DRAMA AND DANCE TEAM
Often our members perform a dramatic presentation of biblical truths or an interpretive dance or mime to add to our expression of worship.
NURSERY
We are a family oriented church and we have well-trained workers to care for children newborn to three years old.
CHILDREN'S CLASSES
We are blessed with members that have a strong desire to teach our young children about Jesus. Children ages 3 to 11 have classes on Sunday and Wednesday’s during regular church services. The Children’s Program is entitled Kid’s R.O.C.K. (Kid’s Relying on Christ the King). Curriculum is designed for each age group..
USHERS
When you visit The House of Prayer you will notice that you are warmly greeted the moment you step foot in the church. Our ushers will give you a Visitors Information Packet and answer any questions you might have concerning the church.

There are many more ministries at The House of Prayer including, Photography, Overhead Projector, Video, Tape Reproduction, Decorating, Cleaning... We have found that new members have even helped identify new areas of ministry.
